The Mitchells congregate to celebrate Lexi's special day, Alfie does his best to move on from Kat, Ayesha decides to take drastic action and Sharon faces a difficult dilemma.

Joey returns to Albert Square to support Alice after the death of their father, and Lauren races to find him. Kim and Zainab plan a surprise dinner party to cheer Denise up.

The day of Derek's funeral has arrived, and the Brannings plan to give him a decent send-off - but will it go as smoothly as planned?

There is a race against time to get to the police station when Lauren is pushed to tell the truth about the car crash. Can Joey stop her in time? Carol is furious when she discovers the letter from David Wicks that Derek hid from her, but what will she do?

It is the day of Joey's court case and Alice is determined to find out what really happened to Derek. A new face instantly makes friends with Abi, but all is not as it seems.

Pressure is building for Max as Tanya wants answers and decisions following the fallout from Christmas. Denise stays out of Kim's way following the revelation of her kiss with Ray.

Max decides to sort out his current situation once and for all. Kat fails to show up at The Vic for the first day of her new job, forcing Alfie to choose where his loyalties lie.

Zainab is alarmed at the content of Ayesha's letters and sends Masood on a mission. Meanwhile, Denise is determined to make things up with Kim but Ray arrives with a bombshell.

Dot returns home and is mortified to discover her granddaughter using her home for extra-curricular activities. Kat and Roxy come to blows and Alfie is forced to choose a side.

The Brannings are a family in crisis, and Dot attempts to pull them back together. However, she starts to wish she had never returned when she discovers some home truths.

With Ian's words ringing in her ears, Dot is on a one-woman mission to save those around her - starting with Lauren. However, her niece finds herself with an unexpected saviour.

Tanya is determined to find out what Max and Lauren are hiding, but is not prepared when she makes a shocking discovery. A homeless Cora seeks help from her estranged daughter.

Still dealing with the fallout from Max's secret, Tanya decides to take charge of the situation. Her methods leave Max reeling, and it seems her paranoia is eating away at her.

Realising he is at risk of losing his family, Max tries his best to manage the situation. But when he finally gets what he has been asking for, it only leads to more problems.

Dot is livid at Cora's betrayal and she makes her views known, but with debts mounting will Dot be able to find a way out of her financial mess?

Lauren's attempts at helping out a friend backfire, but Tanya has a novel way of dealing with the situation. Lola storms round to Phil's and stands up to him.

Cora is upset when she hears that Tanya has agreed to meet with Max, and she does all she can to stop her daughter making a mistake. An emotional Lola says goodbye to Lexi.

Masood encourages Ayesha to follow her dreams, but this backfires when Zainab interferes. Tyler and Whitney talk about getting their own home, but things take a turn for the worse.

Masood is bewildered when AJ advises that Ayesha is playing games with him, but the middle-aged postman is in for a shock when he calls her bluff.

Annoyed at the way things have turned out, Max goes looking for answers - but he gets more than he bargained for. Masood struggles with Zainab's demands and comes to a decision.

Guilty that he did not show up for the meeting with the Iman, Masood tries to make things right for Zainab. Meanwhile, Abi finds her father and is disgusted by what she sees.

An angry Masood storms off to the Vic, while Zainab hears some home truths from Ayesha. Max tries to explain himself to Abi and Lauren, but they shun their father.

As the obvious truth stares Zainab and Masood in the face, Zainab refuses to acknowledge it. Tamwar escapes the house, turning to Fatboy for advice.

Masood desperately tries to get Zainab to realise how he feels, but when she finally listens to him it seems that the Masoods may not be as indestructible as Zainab thought.

The pressure is on for Bianca as she attempts to juggle her family, her first day on the market and the parole officer's visit. Masood tries to get Tamwar to fulfil his dream.

A phone call from Liam's school angers Bianca, and when things take a turn for the worse, she wonders how the family will ever recover. Sharon warns Joey to raise his game.

Alarm bells ring for Bianca, who has to act quickly when she discovers the stock she is selling with Kat is stolen. Jack joins Sharon behind the bar for Valentine's night.

Bianca's week continues to deteriorate when she starts to lose control over Liam. Desperate not to end up back inside, she pulls out all the stops to put an end to the trouble.

Kat is intrigued when Alfie asks to talk to her, and Bianca immediately suspects that Alfie is still in love with her. However, Alfie's announcement is not what Kat was expecting.

Still devastated by Alfie's announcement, Kat does her best to get on with things. But when Roxy makes disparaging comments towards her, the two women finally come to blows.

Kat wakes up and immediately regrets her behaviour from the night before. After some soul searching, she decides to take control of her life - but can she succeed?

The atmosphere in the Brannings is extremely strained. Max tries to explain the situation to Tanya - but will she be able to resist? Masood is stunned by the return of Ayesha.

When Sharon receives an offer she cannot refuse from Phil, Jack takes matters into his own hands. Alice finds herself in deep water when she is caught with counterfeit money.

Blaming Phil for problems with his relationship with Sharon, Jack lashes out - but has he pushed Sharon too far this time? Kirsty gathers the Branning clan to remember Derek.

Patrick is angry and upset when Denise arranges a carer to look after him. Ayesha is thrown when Tamwar, unable to accept her relationship with Masood, tells her to leave Walford.

A confused Sharon makes a life-changing decision after arguing with both Phil and Jack. Denise cannot conceal her pleasure when Ian invites her to his birthday drinks in the Vic.

It's the day of Lola's hearing regarding Lexi and, just when things look to be going her way, it seems someone is intent on spoiling things for her.

A desperate Lola, livid with Phil, takes matters into her own hands. Fed up with three people being in their relationship, Jack gives Sharon an ultimatum.

Just as things seem to be back on track with Jack and Sharon, Phil calls, leaving Jack furious as Sharon goes running to him again. However, Sharon has some home truths for Phil.

The hunt continues for Lola and Lexi, and Phil is in a race against time to track them down. Cora comes up with a plan to clear her name, but when she and Dot put her plan into action they are shocked by what they see. Ian and Denise have been forced to spend the night together.

Liam helps out a gang when they are in trouble, but is he getting in with the wrong crowd? Kim becomes increasingly worried for her sister when she does not return home.

Kat is keen to settle her divorce from Alfie without a solicitor, but will she change her mind when she has yet another run-in with Roxy? Meanwhile, Tamwar finds himself in danger.

Bianca makes a shocking discovery which brings her whole world crashing down. Tamwar receives flowers that he assumes are for him, but on closer inspection they are for Masood.

Ronnie is released from prison, but will anyone be at the prison gates to meet her? Alfie explodes into a fit of rage when he finds out what Roxy has planned for Ronnie.

Ronnie is in disbelief when she finds out what Roxy has been up to while she has been in prison, and she quickly realises they will not be moving away together as planned.

Dexter is worried about the state of Ava and Sam's relationship, so he is in for a shock when he releases the reality of the situation is much worse than he originally thought.

As Phil continues to wallow in hospital, he is shocked when Peggy walks through the door to give him a few home truths, determined to put him back on the right track.

As they await news from the hospital, Ava and Dexter continue to worry about Sam's health. Carl attempts to make Kirsty an offer she cannot refuse, but she has her sights on Kat.

Dexter is determined to do what he feels is right, despite his family and friends giving him conflicting information. Tamwar tries to win Alice over, but Michael has his own plans.

Masood excitedly prepares for a romantic night in with Carol, but their date goes from bad to worse when an unexpected visitor turns up on the doorstep: David Wicks.
