Synopsis
R-Point (2004) is a South Korean war horror you can watch online on iFILM. In early-1970s Vietnam, a base picks up a radio call from a platoon that was written off as dead half a year earlier.
A squad of ten soldiers is sent deep into the jungle to find the missing men and learn what happened to them. They reach an abandoned point on the map, and the war starts to feel like something else entirely. The dead don't stay gone. Time slips. And every man in the unit is carrying a sin the place seems to remember.
Director Kong Su-chang blends combat drama with slow-burning dread, building fear out of guilt and paranoia rather than cheap jump scares. It's humid, patient and heavy on mood — closer to a haunted-house film than a special-forces shoot-out. A solid pick for fans of Asian horror and bleak war stories.
