Synopsis
Were the World Mine (2008) is an American musical fantasy romance you can watch online on iFILM. Timothy survives a brutal all-boys prep school by slipping into vivid song-and-dance daydreams whenever reality turns cruel.
When his offbeat teacher casts him as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Timothy spots a recipe tucked inside the script: a purple love-pansy whose juice makes anyone fall for the first person they see. He starts dosing classmates, a rugby coach, half the town. Hearts pair off in all the wrong directions, and every musical number pushes the trouble further along. Tanner Cohen leads, with Zelda Williams and Wendy Robie alongside him.
Director Tom Gustafson grew the feature out of his own short and reshaped Shakespeare into a bold queer musical about a teenager rewriting the world to fit his longing.
