Synopsis
My Lovely Sam Soon (내 이름은 김삼순, 2005) is a South Korean romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM — sixteen episodes on MBC that set viewership records and launched Hyun Bin to national fame. Kim Sun-ah plays Sam Soon, a thirty-year-old pastry chef who gets dumped on Christmas Eve and is deeply embarrassed by her own old-fashioned name.
That same night she stumbles into a restaurant and meets the cold, uptight owner Hyun Jin-heon (Hyun Bin), who needs a head baker immediately. A work deal morphs into a fake-dating arrangement meant to appease his family — then complicated by his ex-girlfriend Hee-jin (Jung Ryeo-won) returning from abroad and the attentive American doctor Henry (Daniel Henney) entering the picture.
