Synopsis
Ice Quake (2010) — watch online on iFILM. A Canadian sci-fi thriller in which Alaska's permafrost begins to melt, opening underground rivers of volatile liquid methane that trigger an escalating chain of earthquakes.
A family is caught in the middle of it. Brendan Fehr and Holly Dignard play the parents; Jodelle Ferland is their daughter, cut off from the rest with the ground cracking beneath her feet. Director Paul Ziller keeps the runtime tight at 86 minutes — no dead air, just steady disaster-movie momentum built around a geological premise most genre films haven't used.
SyFy-channel output, not a studio production — set expectations accordingly. On its own terms it works: a functional holiday-set thriller that moves fast enough to hold. Stream Ice Quake (2010) on iFILM.
