Synopsis
Khuda Haafiz (2020) is an Indian action thriller you can watch online — the story of an ordinary man pushed past his limits. A recession wipes out the jobs of Sameer and his wife Nargis. After months of scraping by, the couple finally lands work in a distant Middle Eastern country called Noman. Paperwork delays keep Sameer at home, so Nargis flies ahead. Then she vanishes.
Her last phone call is a cry for help that cuts off mid-sentence. Vidyut Jammwal plays the husband who lands in a country whose language and laws he doesn't know, then takes on a human-trafficking ring with nothing but a local taxi driver at his side. Director Faruk Kabir skips the song-and-dance Bollywood formula for a lean 133-minute abduction thriller, and the fight scenes draw on Jammwal's real martial-arts background rather than wire stunts.
