Season 1
No one survives alone
Synopsis
The Eternaut (El Eternauta, 2025), Season 1 is here to watch online on iFILM — six episodes of Argentine sci-fi from Netflix that open on a quiet card game and close on something far stranger. One night a toxic snow falls over Buenos Aires, and within minutes most of the city is gone.
Juan Salvo and his friends are among the few left breathing. What follows is less rescue mission than slow grind: a makeshift suit stitched together to cross the poisoned streets, a search for his daughter, a school combed for any trace of Clara. Strangers join the group along the way, Tano fights to raise a signal on the radio, and Juan's visions sharpen with every stop. The snow, it turns out, was only the messenger.
Adapted from Héctor Germán Oesterheld's landmark graphic novel, the season leans on people over spectacle — who gets helped, who gets left behind. Ricardo Darín anchors it all without a trace of swagger. If you like your apocalypse patient and grounded, stream The Eternaut Season 1 online on iFILM.
