Mother-in-law (Тёща, 2023) is a Russian comedy from director Askar Uzabayev that you can watch online on iFILM. Larisa Guzeeva stars as Olga Nikolaevna, an iron-willed woman who runs the show both at home and at the office.

The one person who throws her well-ordered life into chaos is her son-in-law (Garik Kharlamov). The two of them get on each other's nerves over absolutely everything, and the petty jabs pile up like a snowball. It all comes to a head in the middle of a family celebration, when both run out of patience at once and the party goes off the rails. Nastasya Samburskaya, Mark Bogatyryov and Aleksandr Lykov round out the bickering clan.

This is a simple family comedy about the age-old feud between a mother-in-law and her daughter's husband, built for an easy evening with nothing to overthink.
