Synopsis
The Anniversary Party (2001) is an American indie dramedy you can watch online on iFILM, co-written and co-directed by Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alan Cumming, who also star as Sally and Joe — an actress and a novelist six years into a difficult marriage and its latest tentative reconciliation.

Shot on digital video in a real house over a short production, the film has a rough, candid texture that makes the ensemble's work feel uncomfortably close. Leigh and Cumming made something that works as a Hollywood party movie and a fairly merciless autopsy of a certain kind of LA relationship at the same time.
