Synopsis
King Jack (2015) is an American coming-of-age drama you can watch online on iFILM. Felix Thompson's first feature rides on fifteen-year-old Charlie Plummer, playing a kid stuck in a dead-end town where boredom curdles into cruelty fast.
Jack has no father, a mother who barely looks his way, and a local bully whose crew has turned his days into a slow grind of humiliation. He fights back the only way he knows — petty stunts, a hard shell, going it alone. Then his younger cousin Ben is dropped on him for a few days: quiet, soft, easy to push around. Looking after the boy, prickly Jack stumbles into the things nobody ever modeled for him — friendship, responsibility, a bit of plain warmth.
