Here's the hook: prehistoric sharks have learned to swim through dry sand, and a sun-soaked beach resort becomes their buffet. Party promoter Jimmy wants to throw the season's biggest bash on the shore, never mind the fins slicing up out of the dunes. Corin Nemec and Brooke Hogan lead the survivors as the body count climbs and the gore piles up. Nobody made this to be taken seriously — the dialogue winks at every cliché, the effects are proudly cheap, and the kills are cheerfully over the top.
