Long Way Down (2007) is the motorcycle documentary series you can watch online on iFILM — Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman covering 15,000 miles from the northernmost tip of Scotland to the southern end of South Africa.
Three years after Long Way Round, the pair took on Africa. Three months on the road, crossing the continent almost end-to-end: gravel tracks, dusty border crossings, and stops at UNICEF children's projects along the way. Directors Russ Malkin and David Alexanian rode alongside and shot everything as it happened — breakdowns, wrong turns, arguments, and the occasional moment of unexpected beauty. The landscape shifts from Scottish highlands through the Sahara, equatorial rainforest, and down to the Cape.
