Synopsis
The Little Witch (Die kleine Hexe, 2018) is a Swiss-German family fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Michael Schaerer adapted Otfried Preußler's 1957 children's novel — a cornerstone of German-language kids' literature translated into dozens of languages and read by generations across Europe.
The witch is only 127 years old, which makes her far too young for the annual witches' sabbath. Turned away, she sets out to prove she can be a truly good witch. The trouble is that "good" looks very different depending on who you ask — and the older witches have their own ideas. Karoline Herfurth and Axel Prahl lead the cast.
