Synopsis
Nothing Funny (Nic śmiesznego, 1996) is a Polish tragicomedy from director Marek Koterski, available to watch online on iFILM. A film assistant director keeps replaying his life and landing on the same conclusion: at every moment that counted, he came in second. Cezary Pazura plays him with the particular jitteriness of a man who has stopped pretending otherwise.
The marriage fell apart. The career happened — just not the way it was supposed to. Somewhere in the wreckage is a woman named Margarita, a dream or a missed chance; the film does not decide. Koterski piles on the neurotic spirals without offering any release, which is exactly what makes sitting with his work uncomfortable.
