Class of '07 (Season 1)

Class of '07 (2023) is an Australian dark comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Ten years after graduation, the alumni of an all-girls high school gather for their reunion — and then an apocalyptic tidal wave swallows the surrounding land, stranding them on the hill where their old campus still stands.

Directed by Kacie Anning, the show stars Emily Browning and Caitlin Stasey at the centre of a group that has not exactly mellowed with age. Old grievances surface quickly. Surviving the flood turns out to be straightforward. Agreeing on who is in charge is not. The series is sharpest when it stops asking how to be rescued and starts showing what happens when women forced back into old hierarchies try to build something new.
