Locked In

Locked In (2023) is a British thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Nour Wazzi and starring Famke Janssen, Rose Williams, Finn Cole and Anna Friel.

Katherine is in a coma. The nurse assigned to her care starts noticing that the story doesn't hold together — the injuries don't match what the family is saying. Piece by piece she reconstructs what the household looked like before: a young bride who felt trapped, a mother-in-law who wielded silence like a weapon, and a marriage that had already come apart long before anyone ended up in a hospital bed.

Wazzi structures the film through interlocking flashbacks, shifting between Katherine, her daughter-in-law Lina, and the man at the center of their conflict. Janssen handles most of her performance without a single line of dialogue, which turns out to be plenty. Cole and Williams carry the younger timeline at pace.
