Costi is a Bucharest family man who reads Robin Hood to his young son each evening. His neighbor Adrian then shows up with an unusual proposition: somewhere on his grandparents' old country property, family legend says, a fortune lies buried. Porumboiu shoots it in long, quiet takes with no score — just two ordinary men walking a field while a machine beeps at the dirt. The film sneaks up on you. What looks like a simple hunt becomes a dry, quietly funny study of hope, trust and the gap between the stories we inherit and what reality actually delivers.
