Four Tank-Men and a Dog (Czterej pancerni i pies, 1966–1970) is a Polish war-adventure series you can watch online on iFILM — three seasons, 21 episodes, shot in black and white.

The story follows the crew of T-34 tank No. 102, call sign "Rudy," fighting with the First Polish Army as the front moves west in 1944 and 1945. Janek Kos, Grigoriy Saakashvili, Gustaw Jeleń and Tomasz Czereśniak are bound together less by orders than by the kind of loyalty that forms under fire. The fifth crew member is Szarik, a German Shepherd from Siberia who turns out to be more dependable than most. The arrival of radio operator Marusia (Pola Raksa) gives the series a thread that keeps it human even when the battles get heavy.

Adapted from Janusz Przymanowski's novel and directed by Konrad Nałęcki and Andrzej Czekalski, the show became a cult phenomenon across Poland, the Soviet Union and the broader Eastern Bloc almost immediately. It mixes humor and genuine camaraderie with an honest accounting of what the war cost the people fighting it — a balance that's harder to strike than it looks.
