Her ex-husband Adolfo hasn't abandoned the idea of winning her back. Her sons Kiki and Guillermo manufacture new crises at a reliable weekly pace. Her father Don Enrique, the neighborhood gossips Doña Paquita and Begoña, the long-suffering assistant Pili, and the local officers Romales and María de la Encarnación each bring their own brand of chaos to the dispensary counter. Concha Cuetos carries the whole thing with a comic precision that never buckles under the absurdity.
