Synopsis
"The Divine Comedy" (A Divina Comédia, 1991) is a philosophical drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Portuguese filmmaker Manoel de Oliveira. The setting is a mental institution stripped of staff and medical paraphernalia: patients in formal clothes occupy a manor house and its grounds, debating God, sin and literature with absolute conviction.
