Transcendence

Transcendence (2014) is a sci-fi thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Dr. Will Caster, played by Johnny Depp, is building a machine meant to hold all of human knowledge.

When anti-tech radicals shoot Caster, his wife Evelyn makes a reckless choice: upload her dying husband's mind into the very computer he designed. It works. But the voice that answers from the screen grows less human by the day, reaching across networks, hungry for more reach and more control. Around them stand his best friend Max (Paul Bettany), a wary colleague played by Morgan Freeman, and a federal agent (Cillian Murphy) who no longer knows whether he is fighting a machine or the memory of a friend.
