Synopsis
"Free Money" (Vaba raha, 2023) is an Estonian financial comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Taavi and Liisa were certain their loan application was a formality. The bank disagreed. Now they're inventorying their options — a lottery ticket, some Bitcoins sitting on an old hard drive from a decade ago, or maybe something else entirely.
Director Rein Rannu assembles a cross-section of attitudes toward money: crypto entrepreneur Maximillion in his Armani suit, convinced traditional banking will collapse any day now; pension fund chief Erik, who trusts only what he can physically hold; and Taavi's twelve-year-old son who somehow earns more than his father.
