Synopsis
Playing God (2021) is a crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A brother-and-sister con duo hatch a scheme that strains credulity even by their own standards: hire a veteran grifter to impersonate the Almighty for a grieving billionaire willing to pay any price for a face-to-face with his Creator. The con should be clean and quick. It isn't. McKean's improvised deity develops opinions, takes the role personally, and the whole enterprise starts careening in directions nobody planned. What began as a payday becomes a pressure cooker where faith, grief and fraud get tangled together.
