The Convent

The year is 1931. Emilia is sent to a convent by her father — not as a calling, but as a punishment for being difficult. Strange things begin almost immediately after she arrives. The women confined there, both nuns and the mentally ill, sense that something followed Emilia in through the gate. Or perhaps it was already there, waiting.
