Synopsis
Rugal (2020), Season 1 is a Korean sci-fi action thriller you can watch online on iFILM — sixteen episodes that strip detective Kang Gi-beom of his wife, his sight, and his name when the crime syndicate ARGOS frames him for murder.
Recruited by a secret agency, he wakes with engineered eyes built for combat and joins the covert squad Rugal. The season tracks him from a first mission at the ARGOS leader's wedding into a personal war with Hwang Deuk-gu, a villain who treats cruelty as a craft. Across the run the technology turns on its host: the eyes start acting on their own, pushing Gi-beom to kill without reason, even as the team rises to fame as masked vigilantes. Memory loss, kidnappings, and buried agency secrets keep raising the cost of staying human.
