Dancer Elena and Dovydas, a deaf sign-language interpreter, meet and are drawn to each other immediately — physically, wordlessly. When the friendship tips into romance, Dovydas tells her he's asexual. What follows is less a love story and more an honest negotiation: two people trying to figure out what generosity toward each other actually looks like in practice.

Kavtaradzė keeps sentimentality at a distance. This is not a film where someone gives up who they are for another person's happiness. That refusal to tidy things up is what makes "Slow" worth your time. Stream online on iFILM.
