Synopsis
"The Opposite Sex and How to Live with Them" (1992), directed by Matthew Meshekoff, is a romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Arye Gross and Kevin Pollak play David and Eli, two confirmed bachelors who have structured their lives very carefully to avoid exactly this kind of situation.
Carrie and Zoe — played by Courteney Cox and Julie Brown — upend the arrangement. The friends try everything they know. None of it works, because these women have no interest in the kind of relationship on offer. The film breaks the fourth wall throughout: characters step out mid-scene and address the camera directly, giving their uncensored read on the opposite sex. It's a small, likable comedy with Cox in an early role, two years before "Friends" made her unavoidable. Stream it on iFILM.
