Synopsis
Rapture-Palooza (2013) is a horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Paul Middleditch. The Rapture happened. Millions got lifted. Lindsay and Ben didn't make the list and are stuck in a Seattle suburb getting rained on with blood and nagged by locusts that can hold a conversation.
Things take a turn when the Antichrist — played by Craig Robinson at full, shameless swagger — sets his sights on Lindsay (Anna Kendrick). That makes stopping him a personal problem. Ben, the family, the zombie next door and anyone else still upright has to figure out how to deal with the literal Beast of Revelation on a tight budget and no divine backup. Ken Jeong is an angel. Rob Corddry plays a dad who approaches the apocalypse like a project management exercise.
The film earns its laughs by refusing to treat any of this seriously, which is the correct call. Robinson is the main event. Watch Rapture-Palooza (2013) online on iFILM.
