Synopsis

Jericho Cane is a burned-out ex-cop who lost his family and now drinks his way through private security work. A routine job drops him in front of a Wall Street banker possessed by Satan himself (Gabriel Byrne). The Dark Prince is after a bride: Christine (Robin Tunney), a young woman marked since infancy for a terrible role. If Lucifer reaches her before midnight on December 31st, hell breaks loose on earth. Jericho stands in his way, alone.
Hyams also shot the film, draping millennial Manhattan in cold neon and shadow. Kevin Pollak plays Jericho's partner, while Udo Kier and Rod Steiger bring a feverish religious edge.
