B For Singing (1973) — watch online on iFILM — is a Soviet children's adventure from Kazakhstan by director Zharden Baitenov. Ten-year-old Ermek is a model student except in one subject: music class gave him a B, and in his mind that disqualifies him from the class trip to Pioneer camp Chaika.

Distracted by that thought, he boards the wrong plane and ends up alone in Pavlodar, a city he doesn't know. Getting back means a freight train, a truck ride, a police motorcycle, a locomotive, and finally a boat. Actor Lev Prygunov appears along the way.
