Iron Will

Iron Will (1994) is a Walt Disney Pictures adventure film you can watch online on iFILM. Set in 1917, it follows eighteen-year-old Will Stoneman (Mackenzie Astin), who enters a grueling cross-country dogsled race from Winnipeg to St. Paul — nearly 500 miles through frozen lakes, blizzards, and open tundra — after his father's death leaves the family farm on the verge of collapse. The prize money is the only thing standing between his mother and losing everything.

Director Charles Haid doesn't soften the race. The cold is real, the dogs are pushed hard, and Will is genuinely outmatched on paper against veteran Canadian and Scandinavian mushers. Kevin Spacey plays the newspaper reporter who starts covering the teenager as a human-interest story and ends up fully invested. Brian Cox is the hard-edged top competitor who has no interest in sentimental underdog narratives.
