Synopsis
The Cursed Land (แดนสาป, 2024) is a Thai supernatural horror you can watch online on iFILM. After his wife's death, Mit moves with his teenage daughter Mae into a crumbling mansion on the Muslim outskirts of Bangkok.
A skeptic, Mit strips the house of its charms and protective talismans, brushing off the neighbors' warnings. That one act frees a djinn, and an old curse settles over him. With her father slipping away, Mae heads to Thailand's deep south to find a Muslim healer who still knows how to bargain with what was let loose.
Directed by Panu Aree and led by Ananda Everingham and Bront Palarae, this is slow-burn dread rather than jump-scare horror — fear that grows from a place quietly refusing to take you in.
