Synopsis

Young Prince Kizgayla's wedding feast is well underway when an old friend, Colonel Roman Rakutovich, rides in — and the bride's unease turns out to be well-founded. The real fault line runs deeper: one nobleman refuses to free a serf girl, and the other is willing to throw his rank and safety aside to stand by her, even if that means joining a peasant uprising against his own class. Ivar Kalnins and Lembit Ulfsak head the cast.
