Synopsis
Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard (Arthur et la vengeance de Maltazard, 2009) is Luc Besson's family fantasy, ready to watch online on iFILM. It's the second chapter about a boy who can shrink down to the size of a tiny Minimoy.
The tenth moon is almost full, the only night Arthur can cross back into the miniature kingdom and reunite with Princess Selenia. The Minimoys are throwing a feast in his honor. Then his father announces the summer at grandma's is over and it's time to go home. A spider drops a scrap of paper into Arthur's hand with one word on it: S.O.S. Selenia is in danger, and behind the threat waits the banished Maltazard, who is scheming to claw his way into the human world. Arthur shrinks once more to save her.
Freddie Highmore leads the cast, with Selena Gomez, Jimmy Fallon and Snoop Dogg among the voices, and Mia Farrow as the grandmother. Besson blends live action with animation so children and the tiny Minimoy realm share the same frame. A sequel for anyone who fell for the first Arthur.
