Synopsis
Barbie and Stacie to the Rescue (2024) is a family animated film you can watch online on iFILM. The Roberts family heads to Wisconsin for a hot air balloon festival, and middle sister Stacie feels stuck in the worst spot: too young for the grown-up fun, too old to play with the little ones.
That sting of not belonging anywhere lasts right up until Barbie and Skipper run into trouble mid-air. Suddenly it turns out that Stacie is the one with the skills, the nerve and the level head to pull everyone through. It's a gentle, warm little story about a younger sibling finally being seen — and about how growing up is measured in what you do, not how old you are.
Director Conrad Helten keeps it short at an hour, sized for watching with kids: bright visuals, kind humor, nothing scary. Cassandra Lee Morris leads the voice cast.
