Synopsis
From Darkness (Ur mörket, 2024) is a Swedish horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Park ranger Angelica is hunting for a woman who vanished inside a remote nature reserve, and she pulls in her ex-boyfriend Viktor, a dog handler, to help track the trail through the trees.
The search drags them toward a network of caves and an old Nordic myth — the Cave Banshee, a vengeful spirit said to have once lured miners to their deaths down there. The deeper into the forest Viktor goes, the less he trusts his own mind: is something stalking them, or is the legend finally catching up with him? Worse, this haunted ground holds a wound the two of them already share. Director Philip W. da Silva trades jump scares for wet rock, lantern light and folklore that gets under the skin.
