Synopsis

His poverty costs him the woman he loves, Sroi, who marries his friend instead. Years later, widowed and pregnant, she finds Kaew again in Bangkok, and he takes her in. Their rekindled romance stirs up something far older and angrier than either of them — a restless spirit that begins to feed on everyone around them. Directed by Mate Yimsomboon, this is grim Southeast Asian folk horror where greed, ritual and old debts all come due at once. One for fans of regional possession tales steeped in incense and curses.
