Synopsis
Crazy Old Lady (Vieja loca, 2025) is an Argentine horror-thriller with a streak of black comedy, available to watch online on iFILM (18+). An ex-girlfriend sends Pedro a frantic message: just sit with my elderly mother for the evening. Easy enough. By morning it's the worst night of his life.
Alicia's memory keeps slipping, and bit by bit she stops recognising her guest, mistaking Pedro for someone out of her distant past. A quiet babysitting favour curdles into a trap — the door feels locked from the inside, Alicia's version of reality sets the rules, and there's no clean way out. Carmen Maura, the longtime Almodóvar muse, plays the old woman; Martín Mauregui directs.
