Synopsis
The Deceased (AlMarhum, 2025) is an Indonesian horror film you can watch online on iFILM (18+). The family patriarch, Mr. Mulvanto, dies on a cursed Tuesday Kliwon. Local belief holds that whoever passes on that day drags their relatives along — one after another.
To break the chain of deaths, the survivors are told to perform a set of old rituals. Siblings Nuri and Yanda end up at the heart of it, surrounded by mounting omens and ceremonies, while their older brother flatly refuses to buy into the curse — and that rift inside the family only feeds the dread. Director Adhe Dharmastriya builds the fear less on jump scares than on thick, rural folk-mysticism.
