Qing Qing Zi Jin (青青子衿, 2020) is a Chinese historical comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Luo Qiuchi enters Zhu Xiu Academy wanting to become a poet. His style is plain and sincere — no ornate flourishes — and with it he walks into a poetry duel against the academy's top student, Fu Yuanzhi, and somehow wins.

Set in the Da Tang kingdom, the story follows Luo Qiuchi and his peers through academic rivalries, an inter-kingdom competition with the An Nan realm, and the national scholar examinations. It's the rare Chinese historical drama that swaps palace intrigue for ink brushes, lecture halls, and students figuring out how to put their inner life into words. Fan Shi Qi and Lu Xiao Yu lead the cast.
