Cryptid (2020) is a Swedish-Finnish teen horror series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by David Berron. It is set in Mörkstad, a quiet town near a wildlife lake in northern Sweden — the kind of place where an old legend about something in the water never quite died, it just stopped being said out loud.

A classmate turns up dead in the school hallway — violent, impossible to explain. A group of teenagers starts digging because the adults will not. Every layer they pull back points toward the lake. The cast — led by Maja Johanna Englander and Julius Fleischanderl — sells the dread without overselling the mystery.
