Synopsis
Sherlock & Daughter (2025) is a British-American mystery series you can watch online on iFILM. David Thewlis plays an older Sherlock Holmes whose doorstep is suddenly occupied by a young American woman named Amelia, claiming he might be her father.
Amelia's mother has been murdered, and the only thread she can pull leads straight to Baker Street. Holmes, though, has bigger trouble on his hands: a criminal syndicate run by Moriarty is holding Dr. Watson and Mrs. Hudson hostage. Amelia is sharp, stubborn and refreshingly unbothered by Victorian manners, and her outsider instincts turn out to complement the great detective's logic better than anyone expected. Together they unpick a conspiracy and chase the truth about where she came from.
Blue Hunt (The New Mutants) co-stars opposite Thewlis, with Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers directing. The show dusts off the Conan Doyle canon without embalming it — more wit and friction than reverence.
