Synopsis

Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth and Diego the saber-toothed tiger learn their home is days from flooding. The only way out is a huge boat at the far end of the valley, reached before the meltwater swallows everything. Along the road Manny, who believed he was the last mammoth alive, meets Ellie, a female mammoth fully convinced she is an opossum, dragging her two adopted brothers Crash and Eddie behind her. Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary voice the trio, with Queen Latifah as Ellie.
Scrat the squirrel chases his acorn again and triggers planet-scale disaster again, his silent slapstick the running signature of Blue Sky Studios' franchise. The film keeps the same split of kid jokes and adult gags that made the first movie a hit, plus a flood, a stampede and a few clumsy talks about love.
