The Big Moment (Bolshaya Sekunda, 2021) is a Russian dramedy you can watch online on iFILM. Kostya and Kira were once a couple; they broke up badly and hadn't spoken in years — until they're thrown together to co-write a love story.
Inside their script live two other people: Rostislav and Arina, teachers at a music school. To calm her demanding mother, Arina passes a new colleague off as her boyfriend, and the little lie spirals. The two threads — the writers and their characters — keep folding into each other, until it's hard to say who's steering the story and who's being steered.
