Maniacello (2021) is a Russian crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Out in the backwater village of Sosnovka, a well-read killer named Timofey turns every murder into a literary set piece — a scene lifted from Bulgakov, Dostoevsky or Shakespeare.

The local cops just see bodies and shrug. Then Olga, an investigator down from the city, spots the bookish pattern at once, while her bosses refuse to take the theory seriously. Director Zhargal Badmatsyrenov plays the whodunit for laughs, mixing rural absurdity with a sly jab at the school-reading-list canon.
