Luka and the Magical Theater (Kristiania magiske tivolitheater, 2021) is a Norwegian children's series you can watch online on iFILM. The story is set at the turn of the twentieth century in Christiania — the city that would later become Oslo — where the gap between rich and poor is wide and a travelling carnival theatre at the edge of town is one of the few places where none of that matters.

Luka is a poor boy who dreams of becoming a stage magician. Hiding from bullies one afternoon, he stumbles into the Tivoli troupe and talks his way into a job, hoping to earn enough to help his father. The theatre quickly becomes the home he has never had. But a noblewoman facing bankruptcy plots to sell the building before Christmas, leaving the whole company without a roof.
