Peter Leshchenko. Everything That Was (2013) is a Russian biographical drama you can watch online on iFILM. It follows the king of Russian tango and romance — a voice the émigré world adored while his own homeland barely got to hear him.

The story runs from a childhood in Kishinev and years spent among Roma musicians, through the trenches of the First World War, a first great love, and a sudden rise to European fame. It builds to occupied Odessa, where the singer risks everything to perform and only just makes it back alive. Leshchenko's life (1898–1954) is pieced together here from concert routes and letters rather than a dry encyclopedia line.
