Synopsis

İkmen is the kind of investigator who has seen every corner of Istanbul and solved cases that stumped everyone else. Retirement is finally close — his focus now is finding the right successor. A young detective newly assigned to his unit, played by Yasmin Kay Allen, ends up as his partner, and they discover they make an unlikely but effective team. Their cases are rooted in the city's layered reality: old feuds between neighbourhoods, families with their own codes of law, a metropolis that straddles two continents without fully belonging to either. Bilginer's performance is the anchor — calm, precise, completely unhurried.
