Theatre of the Doomed (Teatr obrechyonnykh, 2006) is a Russian-Ukrainian thriller you can watch online on iFILM.

Retired colonel Zakharov, once a senior homicide investigator, stops in a small provincial town and kills an evening at the local theatre, watching Ostrovsky's "Without a Dowry." In the play, a gunshot ends the heroine's life — but when the curtain falls, the actress turns out to be genuinely dead. Zakharov joins the case and soon realises the killer is staging a production of his own, with the entire troupe marked to die. Sergei Nikonenko stars.
