Synopsis
The Crowded Room (2023), Season 1 is a psychological thriller you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes set in Manhattan during the summer of 1979.
After a shooting near Rockefeller Center, a soft-spoken young man named Danny Sullivan is arrested, and interrogator Rya Goodwin sits down to find out why. The deeper she digs, the less his story matches the record. The season unfolds almost entirely through their conversations: Danny's bruised childhood, a flight to London to track down his father, a fraught bond with Ariana, the misfits crowding the so-called Ghost House. Every episode reframes the one before it. Rya stakes her career on a theory no one else will entertain and carries it all the way to trial.
